New Photo
Nothing to say tonight, just learning to use my new stuff, and I realized I had a new pic I wanted to share. It can be enlarged by clicking, and will be in the Gallery as well:

Upcoming video projects: October 2010
Good morning – I hope all of you had a good weekend. I certainly did. I got to catch up with Sean Knight in Atlanta, and I saw M. Night Shymalan’s “Devil.” I loved it! I am always impressed by how he can take so little and make so much out of it. And I have always been a fan of leaving the scariest parts unseen. I scare myself quite enough that way, thank you very much. It really is a very well crafted little movie. People who don’t like it are probably critical of Shyamalan as a person, rather than allowing themselves to enjoy this story (which he conceived, but did not direct). I did an artistic photo shoot, and I can’t wait to show you the new dance shots from it! I also got to have a very nice interview with the people at MOC Blog. I will post that interview here once it is made available on the blog over there. We discussed the intersection of racism, homophobia, and gay porn. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I will be doing three new Falcon projects in October, so you will find those going live around February of next year, which makes them a sort of Valentine’s Day gift from me to you.
Have a good week!

A gratifying weekend :)
From time to time I like to take a moment to simply express gratitude. I have three items for this little thanksgiving celebration: A friendly email, a kind shout-out from a blogger, and a satisfying photo shoot. I just got home from DC, and I’m tired from the drive, but I wanted to write briefly while the sensation of fuzziness is still fresh.
“Hi Devon: I checked out your site today, and I linked to your film clip. I wanted to make a comment; then I didn’t; then I did, didn’t, did; and here it is: I was concerned that I would be improperly crossing a boundary and, if so, I apologize. You look as happy and serene as a person could be. My computer was slow with the download, so I did not see the entire clip. I admired your smiling, handsome face in the introductory scene. I cannot describe the feeling other than to say that your apparent happiness touched me in a pleasant and personal way. Aside from your physical attributes, you have an inner beauty that touched my spirit today. I wish the best for you. Enjoy your time out weekends. A
thanks to you. xo Patrick”
Hi Patrick: I couldn’t ask for a kinder email, and I thank you very much!! xoxo Devon
In addition to this random act of kindness, I was notified of a ping back on my Mission Statement page. I am very happy to say that it was for something positive, and the little blurb about me is at this link. Thank you very much for this. I was needing a boost, and these two people gave it to me.
And finally: I did a rather complicated art shoot today with a talented photographer in DC. I felt very content, because we got such a wide variety of images (I will share them when I get them), and we created some nice make-up effects. He is a very gifted artist, and working with him was a creative way to end a nice trip. It was also good to see my friend Sean Knight again in person. Oh, and a side note: I got to chat briefly with one of my favorite former porn models ever, Michael Vincenzo. He was a regular at Titan back in the late ’90′s and early ’00′s, and he is as charming on the phone as I had hoped.
So… a good weekend. And I hope you all had a good one, too!! xoxo

New video, photography, and interview projects for August 2010
Hello
Nothing much to report here. Just wanting to give a quick update.
I had a successful trip to DC this past weekend, and last night I got to visit with my friend Sean Knight (once I got home to Charlotte). He was here while I was away, and then we went to dinner once he was finished with his itinerary. It was a very satisfying 72 hours.
I also heard from Fabscout that I have some video work to do in August, and I just scheduled a new art shoot with an up-and-coming DC photographer. Honey, we feline types always alight upon our tootsies.
I have some new interview ideas (since I’ve not had any new conversations for the Interviews tab in a long time). Also, I completed a Skype interview with Jayson of The Cock 2 Go Show, and I’ve been in touch with some other people who would like to talk to me about LGBT adult entertainment issues. I’m excited, because some of these people are not specifically connected to porn blogs, and a couple are actually very large names with a broad audience. It means that I am in a position to have a conversation about the purpose of my blog outside the confines/comforts of a niche audience. And why shouldn’t I combine art, porn, and escorting into a divergent form of LGBT activism? I want to do my little bit in my little way.
Wow. I had more to report than I thought. I hope the week is starting off well for you. xoxo
