Only an hour ago I posted that I had nothing to say tonight, and wrote simply that the Gallery was rearranged… Well, I mispoke: Tonight my duo with Conner O’Reilly went live. You can click here to see a preview of the scene. I remember this one fondly – he was a very nice boy. Up to that point it was the easiest scene I’d yet done. We had very nice chemistry, and I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did.

It’s funny how the videos you do come out in any variety of orders. The first HotHouse video I did was a live scene with Lucas Knowles, and because it didn’t require any editing it came out three days later (much like the scene I did with Rusty Stevens for Dominic Ford, which came out a week or less after filming). This one with Conner I did quite a while back, so I’d almost thought it wasn’t going to get used… But here it is. I’m glad to see it find the light of day.

Because they come out in such random orders, I organize the Filmography according to the order in which the videos are captured. It’s the only way I can keep track with what I’ve done and what I haven’t. (By the way, the scene with Benjamin Bradley at Falcon isn’t out yet – they hoodwinked me!! I think it’s only pre-orders for “Summer Heat” at this point.)

I have just discovered that the Falcon movie I shot a few months ago is in production and will be entitled “Summer Heat.” You can follow this link to see more information about the film as it progresses toward release. When I was last in San Francisco I got to do a Backroom Live scene with Lucas Knowles, and I did a Backroom scene with Conner O’Reilly. I was supposed to do a third scene, but I had to get home to rehearse and spend time with friends, family, and KITTY!!! OMG I miss my animal when I’m away. At any rate, I am in San Francisco again only two weeks later, because of my itinerary. And now I will do the other scene I was supposed to shoot before. I don’t know with whom I will be working, but I will update this entry once I do.

Hello! I finally landed in San Francisco, and I wanted to let you all know that I am doing a live cam session for HotHouse today with Lucas Knowles, in case any of you wanted to participate in that. Tomorrow I will be shooting a formal scene for HotHouse as well, and that will be a playful versatile scene with Conner O’Reilly. I met Lucas a couple weeks ago on set at the Falcon shoot, and I am happy to report that he is a very sweet and mellow guy. The live cam session is at 4 pm PDT. Drop in and say “How you derrin’?!” I am cast as a versatile performer in both of these projects, so that will be a nice change (though I am not complaining about being a rampant receptive in the other videos to date).

Well, I had fun Christian Owen (who is very sexy and charming in person – I was embarrassed afterward to find out I had been in the presence of a gay porn superstar and didn’t know it… I really do need to do more research about the who’s who in my industry) was on-hand directing, and I got to play with Melvin a little too. LOL

OMG! So I know that not everything in work is always going to be perfect, but I am SO FREAKING GLAD I’m out from under the contract with the stupid Sean Cody site and the latent (re: patent?) homophobia on their sets. Doing COLT/Buckshot and Falcon is so much better for me personally. I met my scene partner for HotHouse this weekend, and I am really looking forward to that now. The crew for COLT and Falcon are relaxed and friendly, and they don’t act like a bunch of burnt out, impatient, jaded assholes. We joke and play around on set. As I suspected, working with gay models is infinitely more conducive to doing good porn, and I have to say that I really appreciate Topher Dimaggio and Benjamin Bradley NOT treating my asshole like a vagina (take a hint, Sean Cody: you don’t HAVE to drill for oil in 4-6 yoga positions in EVERY scene). GOD!

Anyway, Benjamin is a very warm, funny, and sweet guy. Some people warned me that he or his boyfriend, Roman Heart, would be cold/stuck-up diva-bitches. But I didn’t find that to be true AT ALL. I would totally work with either of them anytime they wanted. They are very kind guys who happen to be known by alot of people (and thus opened to alot of unfair criticism). It reminds me of the blog entry I wrote a while back entitled -1 + 1 = 0.

So, in September or so, look for a DVD release with all our shining faces: Benjamin Bradley, Roman Heart, Devon Hunter, Lucas Knowles (yay, yay for HotHouse live shows… hint, hint), Parker London, Tucker Vaughn, et al. I hope you are having a fantastic beginning to your new week!
