HotHouse Live Cam with Lucas Knowles
Hello! I finally landed in San Francisco, and I wanted to let you all know that I am doing a live cam session for HotHouse today with Lucas Knowles, in case any of you wanted to participate in that. Tomorrow I will be shooting a formal scene for HotHouse as well, and that will be a playful versatile scene with Conner O’Reilly. I met Lucas a couple weeks ago on set at the Falcon shoot, and I am happy to report that he is a very sweet and mellow guy. The live cam session is at 4 pm PDT. Drop in and say “How you derrin’?!” I am cast as a versatile performer in both of these projects, so that will be a nice change (though I am not complaining about being a rampant receptive in the other videos to date).
UPDATE:
Well, I had fun
Christian Owen (who is very sexy and charming in person – I was embarrassed afterward to find out I had been in the presence of a gay porn superstar and didn’t know it… I really do need to do more research about the who’s who in my industry) was on-hand directing, and I got to play with Melvin a little too. LOL

I love doing GAY videos (as opposed to gay for pay)!
OMG! So I know that not everything in work is always going to be perfect, but I am SO FREAKING GLAD I’m out from under the contract with the stupid Sean Cody site and the latent (re: patent?) homophobia on their sets. Doing COLT/Buckshot and Falcon is so much better for me personally. I met my scene partner for HotHouse this weekend, and I am really looking forward to that now. The crew for COLT and Falcon are relaxed and friendly, and they don’t act like a bunch of burnt out, impatient, jaded assholes. We joke and play around on set. As I suspected, working with gay models is infinitely more conducive to doing good porn, and I have to say that I really appreciate Topher Dimaggio and Benjamin Bradley NOT treating my asshole like a vagina (take a hint, Sean Cody: you don’t HAVE to drill for oil in 4-6 yoga positions in EVERY scene). GOD!
Anyway, Benjamin is a very warm, funny, and sweet guy. Some people warned me that he or his boyfriend, Roman Heart, would be cold/stuck-up diva-bitches. But I didn’t find that to be true AT ALL. I would totally work with either of them anytime they wanted. They are very kind guys who happen to be known by alot of people (and thus opened to alot of unfair criticism). It reminds me of the blog entry I wrote a while back entitled -1 + 1 = 0.
So, in September or so, look for a DVD release with all our shining faces: Benjamin Bradley, Roman Heart, Devon Hunter, Lucas Knowles (yay, yay for HotHouse live shows… hint, hint), Parker London, Tucker Vaughn, et al. I hope you are having a fantastic beginning to your new week!

Falcon shoot (edit: with Benjamin Bradley)
Well, I have arrived in Los Angeles from San Diego where I was visiting with my friend Sean Knight. Yesterday I rode up, and there were some great views of the water along the railroad tracks, especially at San Clemente Pier. Today I do my still shots for Falcon, and tomorrow will be the action scene. I don’t know who I will be doing the scene with (see edit below), but I am sharing a room with Tucker Vaughn (whom I met a month ago during the COLT/Buckshot shoot). He is just precious. A very sweet guy. At any rate, I am going through the normal ups and downs of “I should have worked out harder,” “I should have dieted cleaner,” etc. (ad nauseum). But I am hoping Falcon will be just as efficient, friendly, and beautifully crafted as the COLT/Buckshot experience. In two weeks or so I will be in California again to work with HotHouse. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend – if you get a chance to stay in San Diego, try to get into the Marriott at the Marina! Great facility that’s close to everything.
Edit:
I just found out I’m doing my scene with one of my favorite models of all time: Benjamin Bradley! Yay! (OMG… now I *really* feel like I should have dieted cleaner and worked out harder…)

Bouncing baby boy
Well, I finished shooting the COLT/Buckshot video recently, and it looks like I’m going to be bouncing over to Falcon possibly, and maybe HotHouse too. How fun would that be? They’re both great houses, and if I do get to work with them, it would be beyond flattering. So, it looks like I will be staying busy, and that is what (almost) keeps me out of trouble.
As for my scene with COLT, I got to work with Topher Dimaggio, and I am pretty sure that it will be a beautiful scene (since we shot in a lovely location and Topher is very handsome). Plus the professionals at COLT are amazing technicians and artists, so it goes without saying that I should have had a chance to shine a little too.
